Its Time to Step up!
At this time two years ago we had 18 baskets committed by members of the Guild for the raffle.  As of our last meeting we had 6.  Yes, I know that we are all busy working on other projects however you must remember the reward in dollars that we made with over 40 gift baskets to raffle.  We hardly had room for them all.
I also know that many of you have contributed items for us to add to various baskets and we appreciate that.  We are more that happy to combine these items into beautiful creations however completed ones are a blessing.
We do still need your help to make this year's quilt show a grand success.  We have been told that our baskets are the best that they have seen at most shows.
We will once again have a sewing machine donated by Stockton Sew / Vac and Quilting Center. That is great!

We will be happy to wrap and add ribbons for you if desired.  It does help us if you add a list of the items in all completed baskets.

                                            Thanks loads, Donna and Marilyn

Raffle Baskets by Donna O
Are you searching for ideas for the basket you are panning to make for the quilt show? On the back table you will find a signup sheet.  This will give us some idea of how many raffle items we will have this year. Also on that sheet you can list the theme of the basket if you know it.  There will also be a list of different ideas for those of you who are still undecided as to the theme.

We could use large baskets or containers if you have extra.  Every year we assemble many donated items into completed baskets.  We will have a table to collect completed baskets, individual items and extra containers or baskets at the back of the room at regular meetings.

We get excellent comments on our raffle items each quilt show.  This is a complement to each of you who contribute.  We are also rewarded by the money we raise for the club.  Thank you and keep up the good work.
